How to get help

Email hello@picclear.app. We prioritize launch failures, purchases that cannot be restored, scans that cannot continue, and problems in the deletion flow.

To help us reproduce the issue, include your device model, iOS version, PicClear version, the screen where it happened, and the steps that led there. Do not send original photos you would rather keep private.

02

Photos access

PicClear can analyze photos only after you grant access. If the home screen shows no photos or incomplete results, open iPhone Settings > Privacy & Security > Photos > PicClear. Allow Full Access, or add the photos you want PicClear to review to Limited Access.

Return to PicClear and start the analysis again after changing access. Photo analysis still happens on your device.

03

Scanning or analysis does not continue

A first pass through a large library can take time. Keep PicClear in the foreground and make sure the iPhone has sufficient battery and free storage. Photos stored in iCloud may need to be downloaded by the system before they can be analyzed.

If progress does not change for a long time, close and reopen PicClear, then start the analysis again. If it still stops, email us a screen capture and the approximate size of your library.

04

Deletion, undo, and Recently Deleted

Swiping up adds a photo to the Delete List; it does not remove the photo immediately. Swipe down to undo the last item, or remove any item from the list before final confirmation.

After you confirm, iOS shows its own deletion prompt. Removed photos normally move to Recently Deleted in Apple Photos. If iCloud Photos is enabled, deletion may sync to your other devices.

05

Purchases and Restore Purchases

The App Store handles purchases. Confirm that the device is signed in to the Apple Account used for the original purchase and that App Store service is available, then tap Restore Purchases on the Pro screen. Restoration does not charge you again.

If prices do not load, a purchase cannot begin, or a beta build says it cannot connect to the App Store, try again later and send us the exact message. Refund requests must be submitted through Apple’s Report a Problem page.

06

Weekly reminders

PicClear Pro weekly reminders are local notifications stored on your device. Make sure reminders are enabled in the app and notifications are allowed in iPhone Settings > Notifications > PicClear.

Turning off the in-app reminder or the system notification permission stops the weekly cleanup reminder.

07

Privacy and photo safety

PicClear does not require an account, upload photos or thumbnails, show ads, or track you across apps. Support email is used only to respond to a request you send.

See the full Privacy Policy for details about local caches, StoreKit, notification permission, and the deletion flow.
